Let’s get to the nitty gritty! My name is Matthew and I have been a professional wedding photographer here and across the United States since 2014. I’ve shot over 200 weddings, yet I feel like I am just getting started on my creative journey. I first picked up a camera in 2004 while I was deployed overseas and as I traveled the world on Naval ships. I wanted to take some photos that would last forever so I could really hold on to what I experienced as I traveled the world as a young man. In 2009 I dove into professional sports photography, and while I advanced quickly it wasn’t the spark my soul was looking for. In 2011 my landscape scenery images were on a national print level. In 2014 I was asked to shoot a friend’s wedding and I dove right in and never looked back. Every single step of the way has crafted me into the photographer I am today, and trust me… I’m not your average wedding photographer.

When I’m asked about my style I want every single couple to know what they are getting upfront. Candid images of your true love story, mixed in with a timeless yet easy going experience. True colors, bright yet moody and not an over edited mess or trend. Raw emotions, stares, and smiles from the biggest day of your life. I want you to know that if you are not used to having photos taken at all, we’re going to laugh and enjoy each other’s presence. We are not going to have you standing, staring at a camera stiff and smiling like you just won a ribbon at school.
